I did enjoy it, and would do the half day again. Couldn't see everything, and because I refuse to pay £17 for a programme I had to be quite canny with making sure I didn't miss anything I wanted to see - but I managed it. I didn't stop at any point though, and was quite exhausted when I got home!
There were lots of highlights and very good gardens, though nothing blew me away (I still haven't got over Sarah Price's garden from 2023 which still makes me swoon to think of it). Surprise favourites, I think, were the Red Cross garden (all those concrete hexagons - not one to bring home but really, really good), Jo Thompson's garden (didn't expect to particularly like it as I'm not especially into roses or pink but it was very beautiful), and Monty's dog garden (not interested in dogs but it was a lovely, well-designed and planted but relatable garden). Also fascinated and impressed by the incredible Proteas and She Grows Veg 'Eat the Rainbow' in the marquee.

Great pictures @LG, glad you enjoyed it. I'm always a bit wary of recommending things as what suits one may not suit another. We were certainly very tired after our visit, I don't think I have the stamina for a whole day now. I would need several breaks, as you say with limited time it was best to keep going. We did chat to a lot of the helpers on the show gardens, including a surprise helper on the Down's Syndrome Scotland garden- the actress, comedian and presenter Mel Gedroyc.

Thank you @LG_ Must remember to sow foxgloves today. Doing OK on the rainbow veg front so far.

Never been keen on the proteas - too chunky and triffid like for me - but they seem to be displaying them better this year.

I see a lot of Guems this year, which I haven’t heard of before so I am going to get some this year.

Missed Joe Swift and James Wang, but did love the new gardener/presenter Jamie Butterworth.
