It is still cloudy with a wicked wind but no rain. I brought in the line dried clothes awhile ago. I'm not really sure they are all dry since they are so chilly! We are not up to 56f12c. But the guessers keep assuring us that only another 48 hours will bring warmer air and shirt sleeve comfort

It’s cloudy overhead with a few blue patches and not too windy. Early drive over to England this morning hope it stays dry . 11C oh and it’s 1st of the month .

 

Good morning all, a mixed bag today sun to start than cloudy odd short shower than windy,with a high of 17c.

 

18c cloudy but bright, the funny smell has gone as it was starting to give me a headache

 

Brightly overcast with Saharan dust but calm, and 22c. We ,might only go to 28c today ! It appears our very high temperatures have gone.

 

Sunny intervals with thick patchy cloud and a gentle breeze from the west south west temp 15c feels like 14c

12 degrees, overcast, just had a shower with zero winds, will do the countryside a lot of good. Our walk along the fields yesterday evening was a joy after a shower, bird song like you would not believe, we are lucky we still have a full set of farmland birds here.

 

Rainfall total for May 20.5mm, all in a 5-day period 25th to 29th. Less than half of our long-term average for May (but the highest monthly total since January).

 

Very un-June like. Strong gusty winds and chilly. Not sure if it will shower so I mowed the lawn at full speed.

Cloudy too. Max 18c, but feels like 14c in the wind.
