Very hot in The North East here over the past few days but with gusty winds. A tall marigold and Thistle blown right over. Getting these winds most days at the moment.

We had a band of cloud pass over yesterday afternoon, but it didn't produce any rain. Must have dropped it all further south and west. It was very blustery too.

Another hot day in the forecast today. There might be a bit of respite on Sunday. Next week hot again and I have to go to London for work - Oh Joy! It's always full of hot air there.

The rain and storm have passed by quietly (for us) to the west and it is now set to be bone dry and get to the low 30s every day for the next 10 days which is as far as the forecast goes.

                  Humph!

It is lovely and sunny with a brisk breeze and 13c 61f . The guessers say it will get only a few degrees warmer which is great for tinkering around with bits and pieces to create a cold frame for my new rhubarb. My established plants got killed by a thaw then freeze

Just touched 30c here, its the warmest day here so far this year.
Sky is slowly changing from a deep blue to a milky white.

We have 19 degrees which is more than enough for us thank you, the Polar Bears are complaining, question is do I trust the forecast and don't water, or do I do as the farmers are doing(not pumping the local small river dry) and water anyway.
