Onions

    I planted shallots in April ( photo attached). I water them when there is no rain. Are they growing ok?

    They prefer drier conditions so perhaps cut down on watering. I water every couple of weeks if it hasn't rained. I would also give them a general purpose liquid feed, Miraclegro for example, as they look very small. I'd also weed them, they dislike competition.

    Just wonder if they are very shaded.
    They should be looking a bit bigger IMO by now.
    The lawn does seem to be moving in on them.
