Hazy sun with a light breeze and 23c. We are only supposed to go to 35c today and go off the high heat alert at 7pm,

 

A lot cooler today and breezier temperature around 15c rising to 18C .

 

It’s a bit fresher this morning. 17 on patio and 20-23 inside. Garden bins are calling me to fill them.

 

Sunny all day they say but still only 17c max. Dry. Very breezy right now.

 

Thank goodness it's a little cooler, dull and raining.

 

It is 72f 19c already and the guessers say it will be another hot muggy day up in the 90'f 30'c range. I am sat here quite comfortably with the central air conditioning keep things cool and dry inside. I will spend some time outside. I'm determined to colour up my chicken legs by the end of the month so I can wear shorts in public without looking too nerdy!

 

Its was mostly cloudy with a sprinkling of rain now and then, the afternoon was better but the sun didn't come out until the 4 o'clock clear up, not a cloud in the sky now.
Reached the dizzy heights of 23c.

 

Our high was 36c for several hours, now 34.5c for the last three hours, nothing moving, depressing.

 

When I was in the park this morning it was a bit strange as the air temperatures were well down on yesterday but the ground was still radiating heat.
You could actually feel the warmth coming up from the ground.

Its also quite strange for us in the UK to have such a marked temperature change without any rain to speak of, usually it would be massive thunderstorms before the temperature drop.

 

Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the north west temp was 20c now it's 17c feels like 15c

 

We were promised five hours of gentle rain today that amounted to just a few spots. Sunny all day and calm. 23C/73F
