I’ve made some banana peel fertiliser - has anyone tried this? Supposed to be good for tomatoes.

I use seaweed feed already, there was Vitax Q4 and micohrizal added as well. The growth is fantastic, not all fruits are affected.

        For Allotment Boy.

I too use Quadgrows. I also used to have fruit exactly like yours, year after year. Soul-destroying. However, these days, at the first sign of BER, I use calcium hydroxide. I have not had BER for about 8 or 9 years.

Take a look at my post on June 24th on page 24 and make your choice. Good Luck.

I thought it was once temps got to above aboutmid twenties that it wasn't good for tomatoes?
Our weather here is too inconsistent for reliable outside growing, so some shelter is necessary for a decent crop. I only have a small growhouse, so I'm careful to keep it well ventilated. The temps can get high in there compared to outside, but drop away at night, so I close it early on.
I don't think I've ever had blossom end rot, but maybe I've been lucky.
I don't do anything special to mine in terms of food - tomato food once there's fruits appearing, or the home made comfrey food. They're in the ground, which helps, as they don't dry out easily either because there's moisture available from the surrounding bed. I water quite sparingly due to someone advising many years ago that it's better to let them get slightly wilted, then do it thoroughly.

My Shirley tomatoes always get BER, it's seems to affect the first lot but the later ones aren't affected.
So this year I decided not to grow Shirley and chose Honeymoon ... but the same has happened with them, I threw away about 4 large ones yesterday.
Interestingly, it's always the 2 plants nearest the greenhouse door which are affected, it can't be coincidence surely as this has happened for the last 6 years?!

First large tomato from a double flower. Tirnovskiy Rozoviy. Was very tasty last year, repeated this season. Delicious again:

First Purple Cherokee is nearly ready to pick. Quite surprised because I always expect the beefsteaks to be much slower. However I've been getting Gardeners ecstasy and Maskotka for a few weeks.

Ok I picked it, because knowing my luck, by tomorrow a slug would have got it. And it feels quite soft.
