I think @Adam I was referring to Crocosmia.

@Adam I - that's partly why I'm getting rid of it - it's a thug! (Lucifer is an appropriate name!). I find the flowers rather short-lived and the foliage huge. I thought I'd dug it all out last year, but this year the clump looks as big as ever! I'm also thinking of getting rid of crocosmia Paul's Best Yellow. I prefer the smaller ones like Solfatare

This Eryngium was completely smothered in flies, hoverflies and spider webs first thing this morning.

Phacelia. I didn't get as much as I'd hoped, I broadcast a lot of mixed seed and have got mainly poppies!

The Buddleias have recovered; there's still some distorted leaves but you don't really notice, and they are flowering well. There was an article in a gardening mag this week which said the leading theory was aphid damage.

Rose campion, lavender, salvias with a bit of rosemary in the foreground and alpine strawberries in the background. And a dock right in the middle of course. You didn't see that.

Some kind of Veronica plus Drumstick Allium and Verbena Rigida. The leaves at the top are a young elder tree, and at the left side is Echinacea which is developing flower heads now.

Geranium "Johnson's Blue" is flowering again.

Dahlias are really starting to flower, lots of blooms on Wizard of Oz.

Different colours of Copper Boy, it fades as it gets older. Really lovely strong stems so less likely to snap in the wind and brilliant as a cut flower.

The lilies are coming thick and fast now

Finally! I've grown Nicotiana from seed and got it to flowering stage. I failed last year when the seedlings just didn't develop, and it looked like it was going the same way this year. Especially when Morrisons put on sale trays of lovely big healthy plants and mine were still tiny little seedlings after several months! But I stuck some of them in a pot with Zinnias and Salpiglossis and they just exploded in size seemingly overnight.

Drumstick Allium. I've never seen so many insects in the garden (but then again, I've never had so many flowers). Each allium head seemed to have its own bee. This one's got a hoverfly too.

I was in the garden a few minutes ago, and as I was standing by my recently planted honeysuckle, I picked up on the most gorgeous scent. I had to find where the blooms were, and take a photo, despite it being dark. I knew that the honeysuckle was happy because it's been climbing, but I had no idea it had bloomed!

Two years ago I planted a seed of Thalictrum delavayi. I now have a 5 foot plant in a pot. It's difficult to photograph the whole plant so here's the flowerhead

But its buds and flowers really need to be appreciated close-up

No picture but an update on my tree fern. Over the last two weeks, it developed another 4 leaves and yesterday while watering, I saw a 5th leave is coming. All together, it got 12 new leaves this year. It's the only plant in the garden that enjoys the weather thanks to regular watering.

All other plants are now really stressed due to the lack of water. Neighbour's cherry tree starts to suffer visibly.

My cherry tree is too. Can't really water it as the roots could have radiated anywhere. It will probably drop its leaves early and be fine next yr.

Your Hawkshead is lovely, @Sheal. Mine are doing very poorly, with smaller than usual leaves and very few flowers. Flashlight is looking even more miserable, with droppy leaves that don't perk up after watering and only a couple of really tiny flowers.
