    It’s the 6:30 news…
Garden temperature report for this evening = 28 degrees! Hot, but not disgusting. Hoping for a cooler night so the fan can have a break.

Wonderful here today. High of 31c, now 24c and a gusty fresh breeze ... I could take Summer every day like this ... I love it ... but we will go hotter!

If they're in pots would putting some outside slow them down @burnie?

Sunny with occasional cloud, and a breeze from the north east has cooled things downs a little. Temperature 23C/73F until around 5 pm when the breeze dropped and it climbed to 25C/77F.

Was more 27 than 30c. Inside also just 26c.
Rain on Tuesday now on all apps. Question is how much rain will it be.
The BBC goes further and shows rain next Friday on every day. I don’t trust that.

Had a small amount of rain in the night, pretty much dried up now.
Still cloudy but they forecast sunshine later.

More normal weather today, although still with elevated temperature for the next week or so. Last two days were great, high temperature 30c and 28c but lowish humidity and a breeze. Not experienced that before in Scotland

Just had a bit of rain here, showers for another hour or so then brightening up reaching about 21°C and sunshine.
Not a lot of rain, but like many I'll take what I'm given.

Same here around 18C to 21C for today but without the rain . Now that's unusual for Wales. (Felt a song coming on there) . We have noticed lots more butterflies around our garden as we have been doing ' No Mow May' and just cut paths through instead of mowing it all. It works lovely to see more butterflies !!

Loads of butterflies here too! Rather cloudy so far but the sun is expected to break through later. Max 21c. Dry and breezy.

I've been noticing lots more butterflies this year, I think the dry sunny weather suits them.
They struggle in cool windy conditions I think.
In general there seems to be more insects around, and in turn I'm seeing more swallows than I've seen for a long time.
