Clue's in the title - ie 'HOT chocolate'. How dumb do you have to be to think it ISN'T hot, and can therefore possibly burn your skin. This ludicrous compensation nonsense badly needs stamped out. I remember someone suing McDs for a similar thing many years ago. They paid up as far as I recall - presumably didn't want the bad publicity. That might be the same one you're talking about @shiney, although I thought it was a woman ? I agree that it's probably when the warnings started appearing. Just how stupid can the human race keep on becoming? Don't answer that!
A former colleague sued the MOD after visiting one of their sites on a windy day and he lost the tip of a finger when a gust of wind caught a door and he wasn't using the handles, he got a few hundred.
I got nowt!!! but i didn't claim, you can have a better relationship with some people/animals if you don't
A drive through makes it all the more likely to happen. She was probably trying to pull away and hand out the drinks at the same time.
What!!! That would mean people would have to get off their backsides and walk inside to collect. Either that or actually cook something from scratch themselves. That is clearly in breach of their 'Hooman rites' to be fat, idle slobs.
In forty years I have only once bought a cup of coffee. We were on Teignmouth beach front and had just got a ferry from Exmouth to Star Point then a short train journey. Our own supply of drink had run out. It wasn't very good coffee either. I always travel with my own food and drink.
I’m not a big coffee drinker but the best cup of coffee I have ever had/tasted was whilst OH and I were waiting in a car salesroom after choosing a new car. Their coffee was so good I had seconds. Don’t know what you’d call it these days but, my, it was delicious.
Similar here. Being vegan it's always safest to take your own food. I've never understood why in the soaps like EastEnders people go to the "caff" to buy coffee when they are 2 mins walk from their own kettle. (I know the scriptwriters have to have a device to get different families talking, but still ...). Mind you I haven't watched it in years, maybe they all have a Ninja home barista system now and the conversations happen over social media, like reality.
