Whats Your Weather Like 2025

The forecast was correct here - it's teeming down!
I usually look at the Met Office, the BBC and Netweather. I find Netweather is the most accurate in terms of rainfall (amounts and timing). BBC is woefully optimistic, often saying there's a significant probability of rain and then none turns up.

 

The rain continued overnight and heavy at times, I could here it on our slate roof. It stopped around lunch time and has been cloudy since. It's still humid too. 19C/66F

 

It’s brightened up a treat here so pottering about outside. Garden looks revived at last.

 

Warm and humid.

The local care home has been having its annual tea party in its back garden and there was a lot of old dears' music wafting our way. I wonder if they noticed the clouds and thunder surrounding us.

 

@JennyJB I noticed the same with the BBC weather. They promise rain which never materialises. On the other hand, if we had a long time of grey skies over winter, then they forecast sunshine for the next week which also never happens.
I don’t think they have any clue what weather will be and understand weather forecast as a kind of mental health thing.
I also wonder how 4 apps can predict four different weather with temperatures up to 4c or 5c difference

We had around 3mm rain over night. No other rain to expect in the next 2 weeks.

 

No wind No rain but we have sun and blue sky , Lovely and it’s pleasant up the garden nice end too the day .

 

At 5pm had a heavy downpour, as usual it was on the edge of a thunderstorm. Now it's sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the south south west temp 19c feels like 20c

 

No thunderstorms, hardly any rain….

 

Cloudy all morning, Sunny all afternoon. High of 28c for a couple of hours. Currently light cloud coming over and 24c. Plus it is very gusty/breezy as it has been all day.

Early in the morning here and sky over the mountain is blue with a touch of pink. Temp is around 11C now come lunch time up to 21C, that's pleasant enough. Forecast some rain around 12C but lots to catch up on for both of us today potting on , sowing seeds and a bit of pruning my climbing roses. Busy Busy.

It’s a lovely sunny morning here and forecast is sunny intervals but possible rain 11-3. It will be the Hokey Cokey with the washing, but that’s ok.

 

Good morning all sun and cloud maybe a shower or two around 4pm , 21c forecasted same as yesterday but reached 24c.
