Solved Salvia greggii ID please

    Hi fellow gardeners. I've definitely decided to identify my unknown Salvia as Salvia greggii ‘Mirage Cherry Red’.
    It looked poorly this 2025 Spring, but has recovered and is looking great now (August).

      It's certainly got the right kind of leaves (some of the shrubby salvias have distinctly broader leaves with more noticeable veins/texture). I still can't photograph mine and get the colour to look as deep as it does "in the flesh" , and I can't find a picture of it on the internet that does the flowers justice either, so I'm not going to argue on flower colour.
