I want to put these items along a metal fence at the end of the allotment path - I'm not sure though practically what order to put them in - so I'm not wheelbarrowing and tripping over myself.
    3 pallet compost bins.
    1 fire pit brick
2 1/2 meter liquid fertiliser containers
1 waterproof storage unit, pots, bags manure etc.
So all the working are together.
It backs on to the end of the allotment so it's what to place 1st near that end .
I've attached a diagram for rough sizes, and to give an idea of what I'm working with, the yellow hilighter is where I want to put the items.
    Thank you for any suggestions.

Work on the basis of probability to need whatever in any session. Its a mistake to put the most used furthest away. Compost bin in every session ? Pots one in five visits ? Bonfire heap twice yearly (if the wind is right )? Liquid feed near water source but down wind !
Do I win the prize ?

I would agree, the most used items, tools etc nearest the path and ground to be worked, the least used or immoveable, furtherest away.
My garden is a long triangle so I invested in 2 of everything except compost heaps and water butts, keeping sets of tools at the far end of the garden as well as in the house, to save me walking hundreds of extra miles to collect a tool I had forgotten to take with me. I even have 2 sets of household cleaning materials, one set upstairs and one set upstairs.

Careful for theft. Keep the valuable stuff out of sight.
