Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Les Miserables, its come up from France across the channel.

 

30c and full sun. There is a noticeable breeze, which is lovely. Got all the doors and windows open for a blow through.

Although temps will dip tomorrow for one day to 26c there is no rain at all on the horizon. I have written off the front lawn as it looks dead.

Heard a very noisy owl last night and a few hours ago I saw a medium brownish bird fly slowly into the oak trees. Otherwise the birds are quietly hiding in the shade.

 

No sun at all today. Just cloud and the odd drop of rain, plus a few thunder claps. Has been about 20 degrees, I'd say. I put a cardigan on at one point.

Needless to say my weather app has fallen well short in the accuracy dept ... AGAIN!

 

We've had and got sun all day with light winds from the south west temp 27c feels like 30c. No rain at all.

 

We were 47+ for several hours this afternoon. Now 36c and full sun with a hot breeze.

The forecast heavy rain that should have started three hours ago is still non existent. Still sunny with a few white fluffy clouds and humid.

 

Absolutely scorching all day and yes I live in Scotland! My vehicle temperature gauge which seems pretty accurate was showing 37oc about 11 o’clock this morning. Holy hell, my rear end descended onto the drivers seat and promptly removed itself again! I had to put on gloves to hold the steering wheel. This is reminding me of 1976 when the roads melted and I slept on the diningroom floor for weeks as my bedroom housed the hot water tank and was hotter than the hammers of hell!

 

That's roughly the temperature I've been seeing early in the day hailbopp.

 

Sorry, meant 37c but you knew that's what I meant. Jim had just sent me this from yesterday ...


It is 34C now ....

 

Perfectly acceptable temperatures here in Somerset. Walked to work in the drizzle, and came home at about 6pm to find it was a mere 24.5C in the upstairs rooms.

 

Car showed outside temperature this morning as 34 degrees. Far far too hot. Wilting badly. Inside house temperature tonight is nearly 27.
