Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Yes August often seems like autumn towards the end.
Autumn is the only season that you can rely on coming right on time.

 

The skies have only really cleared this evening so quite pleasant for a post-dinner potter outside.

 

@simone_in_wiltshire we've had some more unscheduled rain starting off so light I could count the drops falling on my skin but we've just had a 20 minute downpour which should help. It's coming from the north which is a complete change of wind direction and, according to the newly updated forecast, we should get 3 mm by midnight.

That'll go a long way - not - so I've still watered all my poor trees.

This later sunrise is not conducive to trying to wake up early. The bats are still out!

Supposed to be dry and brighter today.

 

The sun has just burst through a cloudy sky so I'm glad the windows were cleaned yesterday! Today is about 18c max and still dry with sunny spells here and there.

 

15c, a few breaks in the cloud cover but the wind hasn't got up yet.
Last few days the cloud has thickened once the wind starts to blow.

Done my early morning watering of our 6 hanging baskets gosh they enjoyed that and picked off loads of nasturtium seeds for drying ! anyway it’s 12C now mostly cloudy rising to 20C maybe later.

A cloudy 12 degrees here, there was a light frost in the Glens last night, a gentle breeze and the slight chance of a shower of rain, off to get my eyes tested, enjoy your day all.

 

My post seems to have disappeared. We started the day with 19c and a light breeze going to 30ish. A pleasant day forecast.

 

Still nice and cool here, but dry. The rain that was in the forecast keeps moving further off - now it's not until next Thursday evening. Always jam tomorrow
