Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Sunny intervals with patchy cloud and a gentle breeze from the south south west temp 15c feels like 15c
Last day of August and it feels like autumn now with cool mornings and warm afternoons.

 

Sunshine and showers, although seems to be clouding over more now.The garden is sopping wet and the water level in the pond is about an inch from the top.

Even my very dry slope under the trees is damp now and the young skimmias there are cheering up - they were visibly wilting a few weeks ago and needed some emergency watering - not easy on a very steep gradient which has turned to concrete. The downside is that wood avens is popping up all over the place, as is small teasel.

The silver birches are starting to drop some leaves.

 

It’s cloudy with a breeze but we may see some sun peeps today. Not sure when I’ll be able to dry washing this week - maybe Wednesday?

I took the remaining last-years water from the 200l butt out and watered the bed with the birch. It hardly needed any water. Completely the opposite to last week.
I wonder how long it will take and we write here, “everything is soaked, the rain has to stop”

I don't think I ever say there's too much rain! Sometimes it comes at inconvenient times, but I'd take that over none.

Yesterday we got a drizzle in the evening, 2mm total, nowhere near as much as the forecasts had indicated.

 

17 degrees and sunny with a fresh breeze and no rain forecast, there is some grass that needs cutting, but it can wait, lazy day today.

 

We still have had no rain, despite showers being forecast. Today is breezy, but it is now sunny and a pleasant 19. Good dog walking weather!

It was very Autumnal today, very gusty/windy and overcast all morning. Only a high of 26.5c and sunny all afternoon. Still got the breeze and 22cc.

 

We got some dark clouds, but only a few spits of rain.

 

It is beautiful. 73f 23c and sunny. Perfect!
