Whats Your Weather Like 2025

We got some more rain yesterday evening (mostly while I was walking home from my evening class) taking the day's total to 6mm. Today is sunny and breezy so far, with a possibility of some rain later, probabilities very variable from one forecaster to another. I guess that means hit-and-miss showers, so the washing is out.

 

Had a couple of hefty showers but the sun is peeping through, light breeze and 14 degrees with supposedly a dry rest of the day.

 

A shower this morning and a heavy one late afternoon, in between sunny periods, clear sky now.
it touched 19c.

 

Rain on and off for the next few days (and longer) with a particularly bad day this Sunday as added wind and thunder. Apple crumble and jigsaw weather.

 

Absolutely wild weather today. Thunder and monsoon style rain one minute, sunshine the next.

Bone dry, sunny with a double rainbow out the back.
Off to Google double rainbows. last time I saw one was in Ullapool nearly half a century ago. I took a photo. I got It developed - as you did. It came out well but at the end of one of the rainbows was a dog having a dump.

 

It was 32c most of the afternoon and breezy. It is 26c now with still a breeze. We have a mini heatwave this weekend ... joy!

 

We got a few showers in the late afternoon, including one with some thunder that was heavy for a couple of minutes. 1mm of rain collected in the gauge.

11c currently, 16c over the day with showers in between.
19c inside, have a fleece pullover and my alpaca jacket on.
Time to check if the heating still works.

 

Early start for me today and we have definitely entered another season as it’s dark and raining! I’ll be travelling to/from work just around sunrise and sunset this next fortnight then, after equinox, it will be the start of months of dark commutes. Not relishing that thought. At least it’s not 24 hours of darkness like in the artic circle suppose…
