It's on iPlayer since last year. It's a very well done documentary.

On one hand, it's very impressive what Earth has gone through before it got to what it is today. I learned a lot about the stages and how to read them. In fact, I have watched episode 1 to 4 three times in the meantime.
On the other hand, Peckham and his team must have caused so much damage to the environment while filming on all these locations.*
I spare me episode 5. It must have been here that Peckham finally took the turn to these environmental extremists** and believed he is the Messiah to tell homo sapiens what they can't do, excluding him and his film crew.

      * While filming a Springwatch episode, the villagers nearby a NT estate complained about the damage that the film team did when they arrived with huge trucks. One can imagine what they did to get Earth filmed.
** At some point, he said criminal damage would justify the fight against climate change.

I've always wanted to know the "carbon footprint" of all those climate change/wildlife/environment programme makers.

Of course they're going to use huge trucks, they have no other way to film anything.
I know that it's a old series but I've just got around to watching it, because before when he was or still is on spring watch i didn't like him, but he's better than i thought.

Yes, Logan, it’s a fantastic series which is really impressive.
I also do like watching Chris Peckham. His turn last year to believe he is above the law and his idea of an environmental guerilla war that was a step too far.
I think the BBC and others made him clear he had crossed the line and realised that.
