    No, but I've seen that before while reading up on garlic. Never bothered either, I just don't plant any cloves that have any mold. And always plant the biggest ones

        I planted mine 2 weeks ago and its a few inches tall already

        Too right, since planting my un soaked garlic it has poured out of the heavens. We have had more rain in the last 2 days than in the whole of the spring and summer put together!
