Pumpkin when to pick

I have a atlantic giant pumpkin it's gone a orangey colour leaves have all died off but vine is still green should I just leave the pumpkin foe another week our pick it ?

 

Without leaf it will not grow bigger. It is at risk of damage from slugs and (soon) rain. Depending on its future use, harvest and store in a dry, airy space. Cut it with a section of stem, as if a handle but do not rely on this to lift if it is heavy. For halloween use, carve as required only a day or so before , once opened the damp fleshy inside will mould quite quickly. Remove flesh to eat and refrigerate/cook promptly. Uncut pumpkins will store for several weeks, all threats removed.
