            We got to 26c today, mostly sunny ... no rain in sight. It is 22.3c now, 76% humidity.

              We've had a couple of showers here but while I was in Olonne we had a proper downpour but still 17C late afternoon. Should get another mm this evening - so exciting! - then stay dry tomorrow.

              I'll be ableto get the rest of the roses planted with OH's help before more rain on Wednesday, or so they say.

                That was me indeed - buses and coaches and although I had to relinquish my PCV due to ill health, I am still in the industry... in fact, completed 25 years service at my current company only three weeks ago.

                      You are the second to say it, thank you. One of my staff found out on Friday that it had passed and there had been zero acknowledgement from the company.... she was livid. I can't say I am all that surprised if I am honest, just the way of the world nowadays - an email from the MD might have been nice mind you.

                          I have a feeling that I'll get something after my staff member kicked up a stink with some of the other managers - I've told them not to bother, but I have a feeling there will be some embarrassment there. They pay me at the end of every month, that is what counts really.

                                Although I have been retired 25 years my ex staff that had been with me a long time still get something from me on significant dates - birthdays, anniversaries and Mrs Shiney and I even went to the funeral this week of the mother of one of my ex staff, out of respect for the family.
