It was dry when I got up but drizzle has started now.
Forecast to be wet all day.

Damp overnight but dry at the moment, sunny spells and a max of 12c later

 

Expect rain in the next hour says the forecast and it’s here ! Not too cold only just getting used to these lighter mornings . 9C to 11C.

Good morning all, sun and cloud less windy, a high of 11c,at least the wind yesterday dried the lawns so I mowed both of them.

 

We got the heavier rain in the night, 16mm well appreciated. Had a roll of thunder at 7.30am. The rain has stopped now. 18c, storm, forecast at 10am and rain all morning but sun all afternoon and 22c.

I awoke this morning around 4:20 and it was very eerie indeed; not a sound at all; dead calm outside and no rain pressure washing the bungalow; usually I can hear the bungalow creaking; the only other place I've known it so quite and peaceful is down a deep coal mine whilst heading to the coal face on my own.
