What a great saving. Nothing is more worth than keeping a chair that our body got used to.

I have used for work a certain type of Plantronic headset with two ear hearings things and microphone, and after 3 years, the protection made of foam had dissolved and my ears hurt under the blank plastic. So, I bought a new one. I must have purchased 6 at least over the years. By chance, I discovered 2 years ago that a bag of replacement foams was available and costs only £3. A company started them probably because Plantronic no longer produces the 3.5 jack headsets.
I was as happy as you are :yahoo:
I’m sure we would generally bin much less items if we would get these replacements for small parts.

I find that when I'm searching for programming related answers it tells me it is working on it but sits there longer than I've got patience for. I scroll past it down to the good old StackOverflow answers!

I went for a lovely 2 hour walk today, weather was perfect. These Alpacas on route certainly made me smile, I had no idea they made such strange noises either my dogs were besides themselves when they started squeaking :heehee:.

I didn't hear many fireworks, just a few in the distance around 7 pm and no more. Being at the edge of the village and somewhat detached from it we never hear a lot, but this year there were even fewer than usual, just those one or two in the distance at about 7 o'clock.

We didn't get too many fireworks here either. :blue thumb: Falling on a week-night probably helps. I expect Saturday will be quite noisy.

We didn't have many, but the few we had were from a house backing onto mine and lower down the hill, so I got the full force of the explosion noise which echoed off the hillside too. And they were the type that were all Bang and no Oooo. Then they had long breaks between each set of fireworks so just when you thought it was over, it all started up again.
Not looking forward to the weekend, though thankfully rain is forecast for Friday night.

They have such large fireworks round here that sometimes you can hear the launching device. It sounds like "pumph". Then a few seconds later the firework itself explodes. This should be in the moan section! But last night all went quiet by 9pm. Probably all illegal like everything else round here.

Barely any fireworks round here this year. Hooray for the collapse of the British economy. No longer do people have money to burn. I’m not Catholic but I still find it a repulsive reason to have a party.

Very few fireworks last night, even organised displays are few and far between these days.
