The rain has gone and it's now dry.

Sunny intervals this morning and later full sun is expected. This is a complete change from previous forecasts.

    Max 15c, so mild.

No rain and no wind much better than yesterday when we had to shut ‘The Garden ‘at the hospital. Now where do I start brushing up the leaves or finish planting bulbs , umh . It’s 18C in my lounge so might have another cup of tea first .

It is very mild. 50f 9c and the guessers say we'll get a bunch of rain today. I'm ready for it. Got the annuals pulled and finished the outdoor grilling and smoked salmon I wanted to do. :)

We did have some sunny intervals but that's gone, light cloud and a gentle breeze from the south south east temp 16c feels like 17c
Unusual for this time of year.

Dreich is the perfect description for today, no wind, no light and no heat, but the Roses are still flowering, I cut down half of the Echinops and they have re grown and turning blue, there was even a bumble bee in the garden yesterday........................odd times we live in.

So much for our Orange Warning for Rain and Thunderstorms all morning.. We had one rumble in the distance and some drizzle, High was 21,4 and lots of sun. currently 20.8c and sunny with some cloud and a nice breeze. Our friend not to far away near Silves said it was pouring down with him. Our little hamlet seems to always miss out on the wet stuff.

                        Cloudy, windy 15c.
Not complaining but I wish the forecasters would stop telling us how wonderful it is, its November, the month that starts as Autumn and ends as Winter.

                            Hi,

                            It was an awful morning with rain and downright miserable as I pulled up the sliproad for M1 southbound at the Haigh Roundabout;

Where is junction 38 on M1?

Haigh Roundabout. Haigh Roundabout is junction 38 of the M1. Opening in 1968, it links the M1 to the A637 and an unclassified road towards Woolley. On the approach to the northbound exit slip on the M1, a black sign directs HGVs to continue straight ahead for the M62.13 Mar 2025

I didn't even get onto the M1 before the problems started; gridlock with a 40mph speed limit in place but actually about 10mph; this lasted until Meadowhall but even then there were other speed limits due to congestion of traffic and queues ahead; 40mph; 50mph; 60mph all just dreams for mile after mile; the rain added to the fun as did the overspray from the big vehicles but most drivers behaved apart from those coming past at well over 70mph. By the time I neared Leicester Forrest East the rain let up which I knew it would because I was near my destination. The journey home was a fast one; departing at 2pm arriving home at 3:50. no problems apart from three separate lunatics riding my rear bumper trying to push me out of the way at 70mph in their big posh toys; police are never around when needed; I'm considering fitting a rear camera to the car; Ideally I'd like a digital LED sign where I could press a button it stating You're being recorded?

It was dry on the way home and I drove into a pretty sunset. I'm glad I don't drive for a living.

I don't know how it does it but my 11 year old Garmin Sat Nav always gets journey arrival time bang on to the minute in spite of traffic hold ups.

                            Kind regards, Col.

It was like a summer's day this morning. Then at lunch time cloud appeared ftom nowhere and it rained. Then it cleared up again. Now partially cloudy, but I can't see a moon.

                              Fireworks are just firing up.
