Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Turned out fairly decent after a grim start, not sunny but bright and dry.
Wind was nearly non existent.

Only got to 19.5c today but sunny and nice/. now 16.2c with a breeze.

A mixture of types of rain ahead today. Mild and humid. Possibly sunny and dry tomorrow? unless there’s a glitch on the forecast app and it’s not true?!

 

Like sunny and dry for Saturday . It’s misty outside will get some drizzle sometime today . Around 11C today must finish cutting our Beech hedge right at the top of our garden .

Felt quite chilly out there when I opened the door but it's going to be about 15c today they say. Light rain showers expected and quite breezy too. Dry and still at the moment ...

Hi,

Not a bad day forecast for today with an high of 14C and little chance of rain; looking out this morning the patio is almost dry and there aren't as many leaves to clear. I've also had a better start because I slept in for the first time in a long time; I was late getting up at 6:30 I'm usually up at 6:00 so unlike an electric vehicle only supposed to charge to 80% I'm fully charged at 100% and prepared for anything thrown at me today.

My laptop story has taken a different turn so I'll start a new thread under "Hobbies" later when I've more time.


Rain helps a little, but refilling our reservoirs takes a lot.

Thanks to your amazing efforts and support, household water use has gone down by 10% since the hosepipe restrictions started – that’s a huge help!

We’ve all seen the rain, and our stocks are now 60.6%, but that’s still 15% lower than this time last year. That’s great progress, but we’re not where we need to be yet. We need to stay focused on what’s to come in 2026.‌ We’ve been working around the clock to help reservoirs fill back up through drought permits, abstracting more from rivers and tackling leaks.

While things are improving, we know it’s a long game and the recent wetter weather won’t change 8 months of dry weather – we’ve still got a way to go to catch up and will need significantly more rainfall to get where we need to be. That’s why you’re help and support is so important …
