    As I said earlier in the thread I gave up after a few years of it growing up my conservatory walls with no flowers.
    I've replaced it with a Selenicereus grandiflorus still pretty unruly but given a decent amount of sunlight it does flower.

      Thankyou @pete, yes the sunlight may be a problem for me, but it is worth a try. I don't mind if it does not flower. I will have a look at Selenicereus grandiflorus.

        @ClematisDbee , don't go for Dragonfruit. :old:

        I grew mine from supermarket fruit seeds which germinated rapidly and quickly grew into very aggressive, thorny plants with massive aerial roots and lethal spikes catching everything within 1m radius.

        I then cleverly relocated the plant on bathroom windowsill in front of the only window that gets opened and closed several times a day.

        My colleagues asked if I had taken a kitten. :redface:

        Aggressive, unproductive, rather ugly and impossible to kill. (Reminds me of someone... :th scifD36: )

        Anyways, it was a fun experiment :)

          Oh my goodness. I am glad I asked! Thanks @Selleri , it sounds a bit "Day of the Triffids" It looks interesting in that photo, with the wavy strands as well. Sounds like I need to get the gauntlets ready. You made it sound so entertaining, that I feel I must try and give it a go now! I saw one of your posts on other supermarket seeds you had tried, so maybe I'll have another look for additional inspiration!
