Hi,

Another two and an half hours ticked off removing couch grass; the prevailing breeze was quite cold against on my back so I put the hood over my head which helped a great deal. Having knocked off and whilst taking images the sun had the cheek to show its face; such is life; I bet the sun disappears when I resume hostilities after dinner. It's a beautiful morning now.

Sunny with some patchy cloud and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 14c feels like 15c

 

It rained last night but the breeze this morning has already dried lots of areas. And it is warm again this morning 36f 2c and going up to 40f 4c . Warm enough to take the canna pots apart and see if the roots have frozen and are mushy or can be rescued (thanks @pete ).

 

Its been another bright day with some sunshine and the earlier wind dropped.
Clouded over now.

Storm Claudia tomorrow… I hope we are only on the fringe

 

Rather dark and very damp today, we nipped out to get stocks of food for the weekend, not expecting a storm up here, but we might get some sleet and snow.
