We just had a very brief shower late yesterday after our downpour.

Sunrise 7:13 AM Sunset 5:22 PM.

Yunny with high broken cloud. Sunny today withe the possibility of a light shower but basically a sunny week ahead with temps around 20c.

Sunny at last. Very still. Lovely. Chilly.

Just started wiping everything down as so much grit seems to get on pots etc.

Last chance to sort out what's in and what's out of the greenhouse. Some of my pelargoniums will need a trim as they are taking up too much room.

Maybe some frost and snow showers next week.

      Currently 6c.

Just come back from a walk in the drizzle, in places the east wind was blowing although back home it is fairly still.
First morning my hands have felt cold.

I sat out front in the sun with the boy on my lap for half an hour, but it has gone overcast and begun to drizzle, 17c.

Dry today, but the forecast sunshine hasn't arrived. Everything is still very damp from all the rain - 82 mm in the last five days (only Thursday was dry).

The drizzle seems to have stopped at last and its a bit brighter, even the paths are beginning to dry, but its feeling colder.

A dry day but the tumble drier is on now (first use of the season) as the washing had a blow but not really dry.

Reminder to clean your lint trap in the tumble dryer folks - mine was really full!

Dry but chilly next two days.

                            Hi,

I posted the above at 8:13 this morning and am still holding my breath awaiting the sun. It's been cold up the mountain this afternoon but no rain for a change; I hope it pours down again because we've still got the hosepipe ban in force; I want to use the new pressure washer I bought to use on the car; perhaps a bar of soap placed on the car roof will do the trick considering the amount of rain that keeps coming up the valley; it won't be fine for long.

I've thawed out and the gardening has given me a good appetite. :dbgrtmb:

                            Kind regards, Col.

Had a trip up our local Glen after a fruitless trip to the garden centre, full of Christmas and dog food/toys, barely any gardening stuff. Sunny most of the day, but only 5,5 degrees, naw snaw yet.
