It is 26f -3c and we will climb slightly above freezing. There's not many clouds so at least it will appear to be warm :)

I clean my dryer lint trap after every use. I also do several loads a week from November through to May and it is a large domestic machine so it is important keep it maintained. Mine is vented outside and I routinely remove the louvers out there and give them a good cleaning too. And it has a cage to keep the chipmunks and other little invaders out.

      I haven't got a tumble dryer, so I dont have lint problems.

Been mostly sunny, just the odd cloud floating around, sun now gone down behind the houses out the back.
Thermometer said 8c, but it was a cold 8c, or maybe it's just because it was probably the coldest day since last March.

It was quite cold in town this morning with the wind blowing off the harbour, time
for the gloves to come out.

Had the fire lit all day, very cold north wind, not too strong, but gets into your bones, we nipped to the shops, soon nipped back again. Sat in the greenhouse putting some linseed oil on the garden chairs, far too cold so didn't finish the job, there are strawberries still trying to flower in there, don't they know it's November?

Frosty here this morning. Had to thaw the bird bath with a kettle of boiling water. Full sun most of the day though so we went for a walk in the hills. Spent the last hour in the garden and was certainly glad of my padded gilet!

Yesterday felt quite warm in the sun when wrapped up well in outer clothing but it was frosty by 10 p.m. last night.

The lint filter in our tumble dryer is in the door so gets cleaned every after every use. It's a 12" diameter filter that just lifts out and it's surprising how much it collects each time.

Strikes me that if these filters are collecting lots of fluff they must be wearing out your clothes.

Clear sky, sun coming up, minus 1c.

Here it is currently 6°C, but was less than that earlier today. It will be interesting to see what (if anything) has been turned to mush in the garden.
Up on Dartmoor it got down -3°C around midnight now up to 2°C earlier the camera at the weather station showed a heavy frost or a sprinkle of snow, currently all gone.

Or I'm very dirty! :heehee:

Can't really be wearing out my clothes much as, apart from buying underwear and socks, I don't think I have bought much in the way of clothes this century.

Quite chilly now, but not frosty - that's to come over the next few nights. Sunny intervals and showers expected and max 6c.

My fluff is always grey, but I don't tumble dry grey clothes. And I just use the airing setting to fluff up towels. No heat needed.
