Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Similar temps to yesterday - max 9c - but rain expected soon. Thunder mentioned as well but that usually doesn't happen so we'll see.

Drying brushed cotton sheets for the first time in a tumble dryer produces a large amount of lint; next time I wash new red sheets I'll remember not to add other items?

I don't understand what's happening at the Met Office; first thing this morning forecast heavy rain; two hours later forecast light rain and I've just checked and heavy rain again; they really need to look out of the window. Tomorrow I'm in the garden whatever the weather throws at me.

It is already up to 36f -2c and the guessers say we might break into the 40'sF 5c. The sun might even make a cameo appearance too.

 

It’s very chilly now the sun has set. Just put a second curtain up over the patio door in the snug - so hoping that will keep the heat in and the cold out. Bit fiddly but if you put extra rings on the pole between the existing ones then hang the second curtain on those, and they draw together.

 

Just squeaked under 20c today. Sat out with the Furries this morning but it was too hot in the direct sun so I came back in after 90 minutes. It is 16c now and they say a cold night following Claudia off the Atlantic. We have a wood fire going and I will put my electric blanket on.

 

Never got above 5c today, barely any sunshine.
Grim.

 

Although it's 5c it seems much colder out there.

We have a weather warning! This time for ice starting tomorrow. Temps will be max 3c and min -3c. And there maybe snow showers. Time to dig out the woolly gloves.

 

Rain overnight and drizzle on and off through the day. We should have had some snow this afternoon but I don't think it was cold enough. 4C/39F

 

We've had a grey day with rain on and off, it looks like it might snow later, but we don't usually get much on the coast, 3 degrees just now, apart from feeding the birds and getting the fuel in for the fire, a very quiet day, which is a nice change.
