A bill of 88,000 for twelve people is just stupid unless they were eating gold leaf and diamonds.

 

And yet, the few bricks and mortar shops left seem intent on making the "experience" as miserable as possible. Like in Morrisons where staff members carry around devices that yell "boodly-BEEP" every 30 seconds. And Lidl where they keep shouting "Introducing Lidl PLUS!!" over the PA system.

 

Before going to B&Q the other day I checked the stock levels of the paint I wanted to buy. There were evidently 8 in Aisle 28. When I got there there were none on the shelf. I asked a member of staff if they had any elsewhere. "Yes in the back but they are in cages." I nearly said you should be in one too . How are they going to sell the stuff if it's not on the shelf and the staff couldn't be bothered to refill the shelves?

 

I won't go into the details, but the settlement agreement from Trump for the Russia/Ukraine war is allegedly 'even handed' according to one of his officials. The 'agreement' was hammered out by the USA and Russia with no involvement from Ukraine! Full details are on the various news feeds if you want to look and make your own minds up.

 

From what I've heard so far, it is anything but even handed. You can't have an agreement which only takes into account one of the warring country's demands ........ in this case, Russia. No wonder Europe is becoming increasingly uneasy.
All Trump is after is to be known as "The One Who Stops Wars" - a total of 8 at the last count according to him ????
The corruption scandal in Ukraine isn't helping but it's not as if it's unknown elsewhere.

 

I believe that several clauses state how the US will benefit from a settlement, or be compensated for costs incurred.
Latest is that Russia claims not to have officially seen this agreement.

I phone the police a few hours ago because we have a few problems, on specking to 1 call handler she went to check things out and said a few things, now if i listerned to what she said and apply that i would now be breaking the law!!! ( i was gop smacked) 1 hour later i had to phone again to report something which is connected and got a different answer!!! from the 2nd call handler, it's best to know what the law is because some of the call handlers don't know the basic laws, know wounder we don't trust the police!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully the 2nd lady will do something about the problems which i've reported 4 times this week

Peace plan? Capitulation to benefit Putin and Trump, more like. And Trump is displaying more deranged behaviour by the day. Just read his Truth Social posts. Maybe a possible plan might be to wait it out until he is declared mentally incompetent, which surely can’t be long now. Even his press secretary is struggling to deliver his propaganda without having to contradict herself in the same press release. He is in a rush to get his personal share of Ukraines mineral rights from Putin before he leaves office.
