Certainly coldest night this Autumn/Winter so far, car frosted all over and frost on exposed grass, however at 0800 hrs the frost on the car was already softening in the bright sunshine. Max 7°C today. Tonight min 5°C. Currently breeze gentle from the North swinging round to the South later.
That would appear to have been the last frosty night for at least a couple of weeks.

There’s a thick and twinkling frost and it’s -1. The sun is out though. Back to drizzle tomorrow, with no frosts next week.

Bah to this cold weather, it's very depressing !
I understand there's snow in Carmarthenshire and schools have been closed, well I live in Carmarthenshire and I haven't seen as much as one single snow flake ! there isn't even any on the hills
... and I want it to stay that way

Hard frosts all week, I've just been out to dump out all the ice from the bird baths and clean/refill them. One advantage of having lightweight plastic ones - you can just turn them upside down and thump them.
Forecast to turn much milder from tomorrow.

Now having been indoors a while I put my hand in my pocket and was puzzled why it was wet in there. A small lump of ice had jumped in and was merrily melting away. Must have happened whilst I was bashing the stubborn bits around the rim with a stick.

We have precipitation and happily, it's only rain!

It's a heat wave 43f 7c and and might go up to 47f 8c. The guessers even say the sun might make an appearance this afternoon. :)

Its been brilliant sunshine all day and a bit milder than yesterday at 6c.
Looking frosty tonight under clear skies.

There was white frost this morning, but it's been sunny all day which I think is a fair trade at this time of the year. It's forecast milder but cloudier from tonight.

The dahlias have gone over (collapsed and turning black) so one of this weekend's jobs will be cutting them back and throwing some mulch over the bases, but the fuchsias and salvias are still hanging on.

                      Hi,

From 6am tomorrow Saturday until Monday 4pm lots more rain on the way but the temperature will be 8C tomorrow; I don't really care what it does as long as it's warm; I can't stand feeling cold. Do I believe the forecast.

Next Wednesday 9C might be in for an heatwave? I want to get into the garden.

                      Kind regards, Col.

A rather grey and damp day with the temperature stuck at 3 degrees all day, two of the snow gates still shut, so unable to drive up to play in the snow yet.

A frosty start. The only way I could tell with snow on the ground was the car. A snow shower late morning but the rest of the day has been grey. It slowly warmed up and top temperature was 6C/43F.

It is warmer tonight at a about 1c and temps will continue to rise all night.

Tomorrow will be sunny intervals and showers, rather than heavy rain as forecast yesterday. And it gets to 12c next week. Hooray. I will be able to clear up the mushy busy lizzies etc.
