@ViewAhead yes we got OPINE as well but very surprised as not a word used by many or often.
Have started to do the French one and being rewarded by how many French words we do know. Keeps the "grey cells" working!

 

I think I would struggle with the French one, @On the Levels, though "adieu" would be a fair opening gambit!

 

I had a walk around a nearby lake on Monday and edited the pictures yesterday.
Just walking there and being able to take pictures made me happy.
Being one with nature is something very special.

It was just luck that a few pictures worked out. It’s a bit tricky to get a shot of a squirrel that is 20 meters above. A mm move while taking the picture and gone is the chance. I took around 150 pictures and I was happy that those were sharp.

 

Not quite as good as yesterday, but not too shabby! I'm easily pleased!

 

@ViewAhead we struggled today and felt let down by our knowledge at not getting the word sooner. You are doing better then us but then we are doing better at the French Le mot which is making us feeling a lot better.

 

I think it is very safe to assume I would not be successful at the French version!

 

Some times I am better at the Portuguese ... which i find ridiculous!

 

Today, I had occasion to drive over the Downs. Beautiful sunshine, clear blue sky, and a cd of Brahms second symphony playing, the music reaching a timely zenith as I crested the highest point and the view below opened up in front of me. One of those moments when what you can see and what you can hear complement each other so divinely the whole experience lifts to a new level.

 

I have just put away a large Iceland order and just about got the frozen food in the freezers...Oh and a yummy Mr Kipling cakes.

 

Saw one of the better drivers on the road today

 

Got my £200 heating money from Rachael, the money she banned last year.

 

Good timing, @pete, cheering you up before possibly whisking it back off you by stealth later today. Or you could use it to buy your TV licence this week.
