At the moment, I think the BBC may be a bit worried about accusations of bias - or maybe, like many of us, they can't quite work out the figures The David Dimbleby prog. sounds interesting altho given the number of stones he wil need a JCB to lever up and peer under he may well expire before coming to any conclusion
@Philippa, "the odd venomous spider"! There are more species of deadly insects and arachnids in Australia than in the rest of the world combined, I believe.
With the US now "permanently" banning migrants from third world countries; nobody from the UK is going to live there until there is significant change in the US administration.
Two men have been jailed, one for two years and the other for three years for trying to smuggle migrants OUT of the UK. Personally I'd have given them both a medal.
Oh come on now, I find that hard to believe. The black holes that is, I cant ever remember other chancellors going on about black holes.
Cost of living is not as bad as the UK - I know that as my new boss has just moved from Australia to the UK and complains bitterly about the cost of everything here.
If we didn't have royalty at all and government came up with the idea of putting a family into a life of luxury servants to do everything for them, palaces to live in all costs paid for, billions in the bank and no tax to pay how many would think that's a good idea
