It will depend on the state of the reservoirs managed by that particular water authority, and the water levels at the indicator sites they check for ground water.

There's a more detailed report available too, although the November one is not yet published. Lots of pretty graphs.

17 by day sounds dreamy compared to here @Victoria - what’s the lowest temp you have over Winter?

Spells of rain and gusty wind all day at about 10c.

I could see the moon a short while ago so it's dried up a bit. But rain is back tomorrow all day. I still haven't finished tidying up the garden. Wednesday is best day next week.

          Not frosty at 5c tonight.

Rain all day sometimes heavy. Winds swivelling round from South East to South South West, thereby getting a soaking all around. Max 14c. Typical December weather.

That is a difficult question to answer! Typically our day temps are mid teens. We nearly always have Christmas dinner eating outside, but dressed warmly. We have a very mild Winter, In saying that we had a severe frost in 2009 which damaged a few things. and in December 2013/January 2014 I had to have Radiotherapy in Faro and had to leave .home at 6am and the car temp said zero ... but coming home at 8am the sun was out. Had to do that for 42 days. They were rare instances.

It was 11c all night here, it is currently 12c and we will be going to 16/17c. It is lightly overcast at the moment and should be sunny most of the day. The weather is why many older folk move here. I didn't like the dampness in the UK having lived in Alabama (the Deep South) for 14 years .... but didn't like the tornados there!!!

Have a nice day and keep warm and dry.

                                I just read this ...

                                "Above average temperatures until February
The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has estimated that temperatures will remain above normal until February, indicating a 55% chance of a weak 'La Niña' phenomenon affecting weather patterns.

According to the WMO's most recent forecasts, although 'La Niña' has a temporary cooling influence on global average temperatures, many regions are expected to remain warmer than normal.

According to the WMO, temperatures will be above normal in much of the Northern Hemisphere and in extensive areas of the Southern Hemisphere between December 2025 and February 2026."
