I always feel sorry for horses on modern roads, its not right IMO.
Often get horse riders out on the roads or those travellers with their buggy type things doing their best to be a PITA and revelling in the massive queue of traffic behind them.

Its about time the farming community got together and allowed horses passage via bridleways across their land so that horses do not need to be put at risk on modern roads.

We have lots of bridleways here, most you can't even walk down because they are not used, lots of horse rider like to be on the roads, some bridleways only go so far then stop at gates which then is private land which is own by people that own horse's so they don't even let they very own ride across their land only time it happens is when they are out hunting which you have to pay a fee, a few owner of horse's have lots of land 160 acres and you will always see the horse + rider on the road not their own land some time you will see just a horse with out the rider:thud:

The EU are supposed to be unveiling a new plan to curb CO2 emissions in the EU car market this week. Gossip is, the 2035 ban on ICE vehicles will only be imposed to the rental and fleet sector with the private sector being pushed back to 2040.
