Been dry most of the day with a shower late afternoon, not raining again now, I hesitate to say DRY.
14c which is pretty good for December.

Storm coming, but it seems we might miss the worst over here, barometer is actually rising ATM which is surprising.

 

Rain on and off. It's been so dark here we've had the lights on all day, 7C/45F.

Tomorrow and all day Wednesday aren't looking good, although my area should miss the worst of the wind. Local weather map is showing the worst on the west coast and islands.

 

Heavy rain tonight and very strong winds tomorrow - 45mph. But mild at 10c tonight and 14c tomorrow. Managed to rake the front lawn as it was covered with leaves again and the warm weather is making the grass grow.

Just checked for us rain most of the day and gusty winds . Still plenty of gardening jobs to do ‘volunteering’ later .

 

Steady 14°C, strong winds from the south to south west easing later, heavy rain.
40 mm of rain yesterday and already the same today.

 

We've had yet another weather warning, it's becoming stupid now ! I'm not denying climate change but we've always had lots of rain and floods here, and I actually don't find the weather any different now to what it was years ago.
In our village when I was little, back in the 1950s, Jeff the Farm's cows often looked like they were standing in a lake, and the streams coming down the hillsides were often wild like torrents.
One village was wiped out because of landslides and road subsidence, caused by the rain saturating the hillside.

 

Seems very windy now, but the real wind comes later. Wet and mild at 14c.

 

Good news is that it’s mild (13).
Bad news is that it’s heavy rain and windy.

No weather warning here though - we are right on the edge.
