Gorgeous plant @pete! What temperature does it like?

 

Just normal room temperature, good light but no strong hot sunshine.
Always flowers around the Christmas period.

@Fof ours aren't even showing buds! Lovely to see yours in such gorgeous colour.

 

A couple of my Dendrobiums are in flower - usually April so a couple of months earlier. The D. kinganiums never seemed to do as well and finally expired a couple of years ago.

 

Well done @Philippa ! I've always had trouble with dendrobiums - probably because I wasn't consistent enough about keeping them dry when building flower buds.

My reduced to clear Amaryllises are now throwing out pillows of blooms, and I keep finding the , ditto, reduced to clear Hyachints here and there around the house in places I had forgotten about.

The Hyacinths were not prepared bulbs or anything like that, I just potted up anything that didn't fit into outdoor planters and am now finding the pots guided by the scent.

I also have the surplus of (gasp- reduced to clear! ) small Narcissi and Daffs in pots here and there around the house so hopefully I'll be enjoying flowers for months to come.

 

I think I put the cyclamen up last month, but they really do last all winter in the unheated porch, the smaller one on the left is a seedling from presumably the red one.
