Mass grafting some apples

    I'm pretty sure they were not quite ready, because I was keeping a close eye, maybe they dry them I don't know.

    @pete don't walnuts get pickled while still immature?

    I found they can be picked the moment the green fruits start turning brown or cracking, often still on the tree

    if we plant more there should be more around :) thats why im planting these apples. i only need 14 apples off each to make my money back

      Yes but you pickle them in June or July, not October.

      These were all there one day and gone the next, couldn't see one left on the trees, even high up, all gone, we have an avenue of them that was planted for the millenium.
