WILDFLOWERS YOU HAVE SEEN WHILE OUT WALKING

A mixture of bracket and jelly fungus from today's walk

 

The orchid season has started, well almost!
Early Spider rosettes, Durlston Country Park near Swanage.

 

@strongylodon As always fabulous sightings and so early or not.

 

I went to Carmarthen yesterday and along the way I saw lots of wild snowdrops, there were banks of them in places. It was lovely to see them.
I didn't have my camera and I didn't feel like stopping anyway, so haven't got photos, but maybe I'll go for a drive around Llandeilo one day soon, and take a few photos of them there ... it will be better to stop when I'm not on my way to somewhere else.

My garden ones are always slower than the wild ones even though they are the same species.

I also saw lots of catkins in the hedgerows

 

@On the Levels if! we get a dry day I will go again and see if there are any more.

 

@strongylodon thank you but no dry days here, just flood warnings. Keep you photos coming.

 

I saw lots of Snowdrops on my journey yesterday. Unfortunately it was raining so I couldn't take many photos ...

 

Some nice bracket fungi and the hazel flowers are appearing
