Within 60 miles of Dorset, do not net to prevent sunshine but it goes help to protect from wind drying, preventing some wilting caused by this and in other weather, creates a nicroclimate worth 2-3 degrees . Essential here for pigeon protection especially and butterflies
I use scaffold debris netting, currently black but green previous roll with no noticeable disadvantage ,on alkathene hoops or 4mm wire frames
It is very durable and not expencive, dries quickly and does not rot. The mesh does not entangle either wildlife or itself
Mine is 2m wide and can be laced together if needed. Supplied by
Debris Netting & Scaffold Netting | Heavy Duty Safety Mesh – Tarpaflex
