purple spuds - culinary tips

    Here's a tip for anyone who's grown purple spuds: Don't mash them! It may just be me, but I tried wholemeal mash (with the skins on) and it turned into grey watery mush. Not pretty! :rolleyes:
    Anyone know a better way?

    Steam them :) my mum says that what you should do with them.
