Plum Tree

    About 4 years ago we thought our plum tree had died. We decided to turn it into a bird table. We cut off and sealed all but 3 branches and built a birdhouse with little platforms for the birds. Anyway, the plum tree has somehow come back to life and this year we are going to get plums on it. You can see there is some damage and any suggestions on what to do would be welcome

    I know nothing about trees at all, but just wanted to say WOW.

    Hi, I would tempted to remove and then spray wounds wih copper sulphate-but you may have found the elixir of life so who knows

    Rose, it looks quite happy to me. I`d leave it alone and enjoy the plums.:thumb::D

    The plums are ready now and they are heavenly. Not a vast quantity but absolutely delicious:thumb:
