please help

    hi everyone,
    any ideas what this plant is? i took the photo at this years Gardeners Weekend in Birmingham,(in the tv gardens for any locals)but couldn't find anyone to help me id it.
    any ideas??

    Sorry, can't see the picture, just a red cross - which means it not uploading. In this forum pictures can not be put in posts direct - and looking at the propoerties of your picture box, that would appear to be why its not showing

    To post a picture you need to use photobucket and post the img address. There's a post describing how to do in the forum - if you have difficulty, get back to me.

    Me too can only see red cross.Try image shack Glenw works for me.

    I can see the picture now-but no idea what it is!

    It's a Pokeberry. Phytolaccaceae .....

    We have them growing in our garden most every year. Birds eat the berries and then the seeds are voided miles away. This is the reason why you suddenly have such growing in the garden. Once there, they usually grow again.

    They are poisonous for humans, therefore it is not a good idea to let them grow in garden where small children are, as they look a bit like blackberries.

    I see the picture too, my my what a lovely flower. garden of eden type. 'look but dont eat' never seen one like that before.

    thanks kedi-gato.i've asked every gardener i know and no-one was able to id it for me.
    typically, there is an item about this plant in octobers garden answers magazine!!!!

    And the thing seeds about and the roots are half a metre long and a pain in the *rse to get out. They do look lovely though, just their rampant habit puts me off.
