    Sorry if we have had it before, it grows in stone walls and has self seeded to my river bank.

    Hi Waco, This is an orange hawkweed called "Fox-and-cubs" (Pilosella aurantiaca). It is an introduced garden plant from Europe that has escaped into the wild. Called fox and cubs because of its tawny colour. Also known as "Grim the Collier" - can't think why!

    I think its lovely !!..have never seen one before but the colours are really true..it would brighten anyones garden up..

    Thats how I remember it "Fao & Cubs". It does seem to be slowly seeding itself about, but has not prooved itself to be a thug, so I may allow it to come into the garden.
