Hi there. I am a new member and have an allotment in Yorkshire. I was wondering if anybody where I can buy tomato boxes. The kind I mean are made of wood, quite light and have wooden uprights in each corner that provide a gap/ventilation between layers of boxes stored on top of each other.
They would seem to be good way to store/transport tomatoes, onions, etc.
Many thanks in anticipation and thanks for all the tips and advice I've read on the forum so far.

I know the kind you mean, Kinghymie - but I don't recollect seeing any for a long time. Supermarkets all have the cardboard ones these days. Hope somebody else can help you!

You may not get the wooden ones but if you have a Stokes near to you, you should be able to get the plastic tomato trays for next to nothing. David.
