I have to go to Crewe next Friday - Sunday. I have to work 06:30 - 07:30 and 11:00 - 12:00 on Saturday then 17:00-18:00 Sunday. The rest of the time is my own, I'm taking the wife with me. Do any locals have any ideas of good places to go? Stapeley Water Gardens and the other place along the road and the gardens just a bit further up the A51 should cover Saturday, but I have Friday afternoon and most of Sunday. Not necessarily garden related.
you are not far from chester so thats well worth a visit,,and if you dont want to look round the town their is allways chester zoo..
That's true, we lived in Chester for 7 years in the 70's and took many trips around the zoo. We did Chester last year when we went to see the mighty Folkestone Invicta lose to them in the FA cup.
isn't there a railway museum of some sort? That rings a bell with me... But I'd go to the zoo - I have many fond memories of taking the kids there when we lived in Liverpool....
