    could it be x cupressocyparis leylandii 'Silver Dust'? In the Hillier book it says it "is conspicuously blotched with cream"!! :D

    You had me worried for a minute Paladin,I aquired this lovely little conifer at the weekend
    I rushed to check the label.........Relief it is Chamaecyparis.Ellwoods White 1.2 metres.Panic over................................... ;) :D

    Going by what I found 'Silver Dust' grows to 8m (25ft or thereby) which looks about right given the car in the foreground of Paladin's pic so I would def. go with that unless anyone knows different.

    Some more cobbled info on Chamaecyparis 'Ellwoods White'. It's is a sport of Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana Ellwoodii

    A popular blue-green column for patio or border.NOT a dwarf though often sold as such.

    Height 200cm
    Spread 80cm
    Foliage Colour Green Blue
    Approximate Growth Rate 20cm per year

    I assume the sport would have a similar habit to the parent though I don't trust anything that looks like a Leylandii :D
