    Apparently we have 17 members on line at the moment, two of whom are invisible. Cool!

    Whats the point of the"possibly related threads" at the bottom of the page?

    Most of it is history, some 5yrs old.

    It'll be a feature of the forum software, probably identifying words or phrases.

    I'm guessing, but I expect a Thread is set to "Subscribe type" when you reply to it.

    The Option you have set will apply to future threads that you create / first reply to, but existing ones (like this) will retain the status they had at the time - and I guess you replied here before changing your Option settings.

    Under My Account there is a "Subscribed Threads" link - you can probably sort out any thr4eads you have accidentally been subscribed to there.
