[size=large]I would just go with the Aliens theory, Ziggy.
I see them everyday. Why would we doubt their existence :D

Definitely aliens. I know they exist, I married one. My alien is lovely by the way, I don't use the term in a derogatory sense.

I don't know maybe, but it would need to actually have something physically reflecting the laser back though? and there was no beam that you could see (although that could be caused by clever camera angles) also it would need to be very very powerful to be able to produce such a large "orb" from such a disance...

Yeah, 2 lasers acting in tandem, lighting up where the beams crossed, but they both would have spilled past each other & lit up clouds in the background, hell of a stunt to pull off.

Having seen laser shows against the clouds, the acceleration ratio was wrong for this one, something controlled from the ground would have streaked away quicker, almost like a blur.

I've seen laser shows where the projected images move slowly, and that was against the very sparse clouds. It all depends what kit they're using.

either way it was mighty impressive:WINK1:

I'll never forget coming back from the shops with my mum a few years ago and we saw something in the sky which freaked both of us out I can't really remember what it looked like but I remember crapping myself and legging it into the hous:rofl:

whatever it was we both felt there wasn't something right about it and felt the need to leave the area at a somewhat fast run:th_scifD36:

Nice one Harry :dbgrtmb: Threads are meant to be broken into, you wouldn't have a conversation in the pub where someone says, whoa, you're going off topic.

Conversations evolve, so should threads in my opinion anyway.
