    Hello all,

I bought two big bags of daff bulbs last year- cheerfullness whites and a mixed bag. The daff in the pic below has come up and I absolutely love it!I haven't seen another before, and I am having difficulty finding out what type it is. I wondered if anyone knew, as I would love to get a large batch of them for next year.

    Thanks.

Sorry, can't help you with the id.
But it's a lovely flower, the yellow 'flashes' give it a delicate look.:)

Yup it certainly drew my attention!! It was pointing away from the front of the bed though so didnt notice until I pottered round the other side. Certainly has some beautiful stripes, almost looks painted.:)

Starting to think it could be an imperfection or the flower as suggested, or in my opinion perfection :) but any thoughts/ ideas would be much appreciated :)

    Thanks.

Thanks for that, yeah it does look very very similar. To be honest I'm really really pleased with the bags I bought, and so cheap too! So much variation as above, it's almost identical to the one above on the far left, but with a white centre. I am not too clued up, with it being a variation will I get the same again next year?

I love the all white daff above btw.

It really is beauitful :) I would love a display of these. I did wonder myself, if the bulb multiplies....would it be the same?

I'm in two minds whether to take it up when the time comes, and leave it seperate in a pot....but I am worried about loosing it to rot.

It's like the holy grail of daff's to me :)

Yup it is lovely, and still just about in flower. It's a pity it's one of the ones that points towards the back of the flower bed and not the front :P, I don't see it near as much as I'd like. It'll get a prime spot next year :):)

Those mixed bags are defo worth getting if you can....you never know what you could get!!
